African Collection - a collection of beautiful and creative South African art, carefully put together to present a range that captures the spirit and character of its people. There is no 'big five' on this site. Instead, you will find vivid images depicting scenes of African life.

African Collection was conceived by husband and wife team, Jarvis and Susan Lazarus, after their first of several visits to the continent. They were immediately attracted to the vibrancy and boldness of the art and artists they encountered. On their return, they became increasingly convinced of the opportunity to establish a marketplace for undiscovered African artistic talent. Thus the concept of African Collection was born.

New for 2006 African Collection have added a new range of handcrafted stoneware basins, available in six shapes and a exciting series of designs and colours.

African Collection offers high quality prints in a choice of size and finish using two paper types:
Standard — a matt finished cream/white paper (click to view)
Canvas— a finish that makes it difficult to distinguish a print from the original (Click to view).

The size of the prints available varies with each painting but most are offered in at least two sizes so you can customise your print for your space.

African Collection aims to deliver all prints within a week and you will be kept up to date with your order's progress from day one.
